Frem: The Maronite Order is the conscience of Lebanon’s and family’s values

The chairman of “Project Watan’s” Executive Board, Deputy Neemat Frem, wrote on his X account: “The Maronite Order serves as the safety valve and the living conscience for spiritual teachings and human values, safeguarding Lebanon and the family’s values from ancient times to the present day.”

He added: “I believe, as the Maronite Order and the entire Catholic Church do, that the family, akin to nature, only gives life through the union of a man and a woman. It is entrusted with life from conception until old age.  Therefore, we extend our gratitude to the Maronite Order – the guardian of this trust – and to all the Lebanese spiritual families who protect Lebanon and its values.”

Frem concluded: “Lebanon stands as one of the remaining remnants in this world as a witness to the sanctity of human nature. This is how it has been and how it will remain forever, God willing.”

Frem accompanied his post with the statement issued by the General Secretariat of the Lebanese Maronite Order.
