Frem Condemns Terrorist Attack in Jordan

The President of Project Watan’s Executive Board, MP Neemat Frem, condemned the shooting that targeted mourners attending a funeral at a Greek Orthodox church in the village of Hamoud, in Jordan’s southern Karak Governorate, on Friday, October 23, leaving several people dead and dozens injured.

He wrote on his X account:

“I strongly condemn the terrorist attack that targeted mourners inside a church in Jordan, a country that sets an honorable example of interfaith coexistence and respect for diversity.

Targeting places of worship and mourners is a crime against humanity and the values of peace and freedom.

We stand in full solidarity with Jordan and its people. May the victims rest in peace, and may the wounded recover swiftly.”
