Frem: Ending the “Cairo Agreement” effects restores independent national decision-making

The Chairman of Project Watan’s Executive Board, MP Neemat Frem, wrote on his X account: The dream of building a state that alone holds the exclusive right to bear arms is now closer than ever before. This is a pivotal moment in the history of the country that has long suffered from the consequences of imposed interventions and agreements. Today, this moment is embodied in the decision to end the effects of the ‘Cairo Agreement.’”

He added: “This step symbolizes the recovery of independent national decision-making and paves the way toward a strong and sovereign state, as part of a series of measures that will lead our people toward a future marked by justice and the exclusive authority of our security and military institutions in enforcing the law.”
