Frem Eulogizes a Unique Figure and Affirms that the Lebanese Arena Surpasses All Others

The Chairman of Project Watan’s Executive Board, MP Neemat Frem, shared on his X account:

“When I look around me today, overwhelmed by deep sorrow, I see thousands of martyrs and injured, hundreds of thousands of displaced people, and the immense material losses; I sense the anxiety in people’s eyes, the brokenness in their hearts, and the uncertainty about the future. After the assassination of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and a large number of Hezbollah’s leaders, I ask myself, why?

What is this deep wound in the conscience of the Lebanese people, and for what purpose? The unity of arenas? A terrible catastrophe has befallen us. I remember my grandmother often saying: ‘Better the ryegrass of your homeland than the wheat of the crusaders.’ May God have mercy on a unique figure and his companions. We pray and hope that, from the other side, they will inspire the people of my country to realize that the common ground among the Lebanese is the only path to dignity, stability, and the prevention of bloodshed.
