Frem Eulogizes Dory Chamoun, a Man Who Defended Lebanon’s Sovereignty and Independence

President of Project Watan’s Executive Board, MP Neemat Frem, eulogized Dory Chamoun, who died on Monday, September 14, at the age of 94, saying Lebanon has lost a man who defended its sovereignty and independence.

He posted on X: “With the passing of Dory Chamoun, Lebanon turns the page on the life of a man who entered public life carrying a great national name, but left his own mark on Lebanese politics, defending Lebanon’s sovereignty and independence and believing in our country’s right to be a free state with full decision-making power.

May his soul rest in peace, and condolences to his family and to Lebanon.”
