Frem Mourns Ziad Rahbani, Hailing Him as an Unparalleled Intellectual and Cultural Force

The Chairman of Project Watan’s Executive Board, MP Neemat Frem, mourned the passing of Ziad Rahbani, describing him as an exceptional intellectual, cultural, critical, and artistic phenomenon.

In a post on his X account, Frem wrote: “Today, we lost the great and extraordinary Ziad Rahbani. He was a unique intellectual, cultural, critical, and artistic force, one that is not easily repeated. His creations will continue to enrich Lebanon’s artistic heritage from generation to generation.

May his soul rest in peace. Our heartfelt condolences go to his mother, Fairouz – our ambassador to the stars – as well as to his family, friends, and admirers.”
