Frem on Free Speech in the Face of Threats

The Chairman of Project Watan’s Executive Board, MP Neemat Frem, expressed his solidarity with MTV Lebanon and all media institutions and journalists during these difficult times.

He wrote on his X account: “Full solidarity with MTV and all media institutions, news platforms, and journalists during these difficult days.

Free speech is not a luxury; it is the primary pillar for safeguarding the truth and upholding national sovereignty.

When media outlets are targeted and journalists are threatened, the attack is not against a screen, a platform, or an individual, but against the truth itself – at its very core, and its right to be spoken and protected.”
