Frem on the Commemoration of the Civil War: Let Us Read the Signs Before Lebanon Pays the Price Once Again

The Chairman of Project Watan’s Executive Board, MP Neemat Frem, wrote on his X account:

“On the commemoration of April 13, history records the beginning of the ill-fated war – but in truth, it began long before that.

It began the day we started leasing our sovereignty to external powers, and the day some Lebanese began using those same external powers in their internal affairs and narrow political calculations…

God willing, we will heed the signs in time before Lebanon pays the price once again.”
