Frem on the Targeting of Rahi: If Morality Falls… Nations Fall

The Chairman of Project Watan’s Executive Board, MP Neemat Frem, wrote on his X account: “Nations are built on morality. If such disgraceful methods are being used against a national spiritual authority like Patriarch Bechara Boutros al-Rahi – who has never called for anything but love and peace – then what surprise can still remain for the days ahead, as our land witnesses moral and national decline, unchecked recklessness in dragging the country into wars, and the spread of campaigns treason accusations and threats?

What kind of downfall is this, where moderation is measured by noise, and the call for peace is besieged by the dominance of instincts, where great figures are insulted and discordant voices rise above all others?

What a miserable time this is.”
