Frem’s Office Slams False Allegations and Attempts to Sow Division

MP Neemat Frem denounced, through a statement issued by his press office, the tension caused by fake accounts – directly affecting the unity of the national fabric, deepening divisions, and stirring fears. He also criticized those who go further by making reckless accusations and calling for boycotts, incitement, and escalation, accusing them of pouring oil on the fire and pushing public discourse toward further division and tension.

The statement read: “Social media platforms have been circulating news falsely and maliciously attributed to MP Neemat Frem. These allegations are baseless, far from the truth, and purely fabricated for unknown reasons and hidden motives. They bear no relation to reality whatsoever, neither directly nor indirectly.

In the face of these suspicious attempts, we call on all Lebanese to remain alert and vigilant regarding what is being plotted against the country during this delicate and sensitive stage, and to steer away from any provocative rhetoric that drives further division and tension, threatening the unity of the national fabric and increasing internal tension.

We ask God to spare Lebanon and the Lebanese the evil of strife and to protect the country from all harm.”
