Resigned MP Neemat Frem, head of “Project Watan’s” Executive Board, commented, in a tweet, on the busting of a takfiri network planning bombing attacks.

He wrote: “Yes, our security apparatuses are capable and can make a difference, indeed. This is a major, preemptive, and professional achievement by the security forces and the Information Branch in times of collapse and failure."

He added: "If terrorism were to strike, it would have caused a human massacre, and we would have faced infernal repercussions on civil peace and on the upcoming elections. May God protect Lebanon."
