Neemat Frem to EDL: Provide Jounieh NSSF center with Power to Stop the Humiliation of Citizens

In a post on his X account, the chairman of “Project Watan’s” Executive Board, Deputy Neemat Frem, made an appeal to Electricité du Liban (EDL), urging them to provide the National Social Security Fund (NSSF) offices in Jounieh with power and halt the humiliation of citizens.

He wrote: “Stop the humiliation and disgrace of the citizens who visit the NSSF center in Jounieh to handle their transactions in this harsh heat and almost oxygen-deprived environment, as well as the employees struggling to perform their duties.”

He added: “There is no private generator at this regional center, and there are no generators nearby that can meet its needs. People are suffocating, servers are shutting down, and transactions are piling up”!

He concluded: “This is a crucial plea to EDL: provide this center with power during morning working hours, before it becomes an emergency room for those who may faint due to excessively high temperatures surpassing all norms.”
